Knock Knock is a psychological thriller short film about what we refuse to see in the people we love — and what it costs us to keep pretending. Your gift helps bring this story to life and onto the world's most prestigious festival stages.
Knock Knock follows Telisha, a Black woman finally convinced she has found the relationship that will heal her. She invites her best friend to meet the man she believes changed everything. But as the night unfolds it becomes clear that not everyone is seeing the same relationship.
Before a single frame has been shot Knock Knock has already stopped rooms cold. A full table read of Draft 5 received a 100% positive response. Women in the audience did not just connect with the story. They lived it. Since we began speaking publicly about this project the response has been the same everywhere.
"That's me. I am Telisha."
